Heralded as the phenomenal weight-loss formula of 2017, PhenQ has been considered a success in several fitness regimes. It is manufactured by the company Wolfson Berg that is a recognized producer of numerous health supplements and products.

PhenQ is a dietary supplement that claims to facilitate weight loss by boosting up the energy levels in the body and controlling lipid production that in turn leads to rapid burning of fat.

How does it claim to work?

The mechanisms of this pill is not very difficult to understand. It claims to work in 5 major ways, influencing the body to shed weight.

Fat Burning: The thermogenic (heat-generating) nature of the product speeds up the metabolic rate in the body, which raises the body temperature for a certain amount of time. This mainly causes the unwanted fat to melt away.

Suppression of Appetite: Since one of the major reasons for gaining weight is an urge to eat junk food, PhenQ aims to hack off the calories by reducing appetite. It assists you to eat less without having to endure stomach cramps or gastric ailments.

Boosting Energy: When appetite is lowered, the energy levels will drop too. But, in this case, the dip in the energy level is avoided since the pill boosts up the overall energy in the body. This, in turn, leads to the burning of fat and keeps you active all day long.

Restricts fat production: The pill claims to inhibit the production of new fat by influencing the fat cells in the body.

Elevates the mood: Generally, when there is a loss of appetite and rapid fat burning, the person can experience a change in the mood, feeling restless, irritable or nervous.

2. Capsimax

3. Piperine

Piperine, has been scientifically proven to enhance the bioavailability of nutritional and botanical compounds.

4. Chromium Picolinate

My Experience with PhenQ

PhenQ was one product that I totally tested out for myself, without relying on any second-hand version or online review. I used it during the time I had gained weight in a post-operative phase after a vehicular accident, last year.

Since I was recommended to stay in bed as a result of a nasty fracture in my right leg, my daily activities and workouts crashed to a great extent. I also started eating a lot of junk food because of all the idle time I had and, not to mention, the ‘benevolent’ house-parties thrown by my equally interesting friends, in an effort to keep me company.

By the end of 2 full months, I found myself verging on being overweight.

This was the same time I was doing my research about the different dietary supplements that had seemed to take over the internet. There were several reports on how most of these were just a scam and a fraud, and more concerningly, did more harm than do nothing.

When I came across several favorable reviews of PhenQ, I noticed how the product was affecting the public health in general, specially for the way it worked. The claims seemed logical, and I decided to give it a test-drive.

As per the doses that recommend 2 pills per day, I started out with the first pill for breakfast and one after a very light lunch. I went with this regime following it up with some basic physio suggested by the doctor. Nothing much happened during the first three weeks and my appetite remained unchanged.

During the fourth week, I started to feel a bit more energized, and as my leg was healing, I began to go on for short walks in the evening. I cut back on the carbs and junk and found that I could do it easily as I felt more full even when I wasn’t having a truckload of fries. By the end of a month an a half, the weighing scale indicated the loss of a kilogram. Though it was a painfully slow progress, I kept on with the formulation, and as I got used to this regime more and more, I felt it work faster for me. And by the end of 4 months, I had lost 3 substantial kgs before I summed up my final thoughts on the product.

My energy levels had increased immensely, and I felt more inspired and focused on getting in shape. It helps you clear your mind of all the lethargy that comes with an inactive lifestyle.

Dosage

You are required to take one pill for breakfast and one for lunch. It is not advisable to ingest this product after 3 pm as the caffeine content may interfere with the sleeping patterns. Due to similar reasons, the instructions suggest you to cut down on your intake of coffee or similar products while you’re on this pill.

Side Effects

Even though most of the ingredients are obtained from entirely natural sources, some people maybe sensitive or allergic to some of these. Certain known adverse effects may include nausea, headache, dizziness, digestive issues, anxiety or sleeping problems.

For me, it was mainly a week of my body getting used to the product, and changes in my sleeping patterns were a common thing which subsided altogether after that.

I would duly recommend you to seek medical advice before starting on the pill and be informed of all that can trigger an allergic reaction in your body.

What could have been better?

For starters, the price of one bottle of PhenQ, containing 60 tablets, is pretty high. And that makes it a very expensive buy, if you plan to take it for a prolonged period of time.

It will take its own sweet time to work that will vary in its results for different people.

Also, this should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women or anyone on any prescribed medication. It is illegal to use this product if you’re under 18 years of age.

Final Thoughts

PhenQ as a dietary supplement did work for me when it came to shedding that extra amount of unwanted fat. Although it took time to work, overall, it resulted in an invigorating experience for me.

Due to certain factors like the time it takes to show its results or the initial changes that your body will have to adjust to, it might seem like a scam to most.

I would suggest that you try this product only if you are willing to be patient with it, and diligently follow the directions.

Also, it is mandatory that you consult a physician before you take this product.
