NooCube Reviews: Is it the perfect nootropic supplement ever?

Having a brain like that of Einstein’s is something that may not be what most people are generally born with.

But acquiring sharp cognitive faculties, clarity, focus and strong concentration is easy if you know what to include in your lifestyle and the kind of memory boosters to go for.

We have all heard about “nootropics” and the various memory supplements that are available in the market. If you didn’t already know what nootropics were: they’re a group of medications, drugs, supplements and other substances that help improve cognitive function, memory, creativity, and motivation in otherwise healthy individuals.

One such popular nootropic out there is the NooCube dietary supplement that claims to be a powerful cognitive enhancer.

Now, the question is, amongst numerous other supplements that claim to be the same, how should one substantiate the big declaration and promises that NooCube was making?

Hi, I’m Jason, and I’m a 27-year-old fitness model and a gym trainer.

One of the toughest battles that I had to fight in life was with juvenile diabetes mellitus type 2 and obesity that not only damaged my health to a great extent, but also adversely impacted my focus and concentration on things in general.

I tested out NooCube myself, and today I’m going to tell you all about my experience with the product.

About NooCube

NooCube is a uniquely formulated nootropic supplement that claims to deliver a synergistic blend of vitamins, amino acids, and other essential nutrients to help improve your cognitive functions, enhance focus and boost your memory and overall mental speed.

The product is manufactured by Wolfson Berg Limited and brings to you a formula that helps support the neurotransmitters in our brain and enhance its overall intellectual capacity.

It claims to:

  • Enhance your cognitive function
  • Heighten your concentration and focus, and,
  • Improve your memory and learning
  • Enable better communication
  • Increase mental concentration and improve multitasking

NooCube is prepared using some of the most beneficial and natural ingredients that help enhance your mental capacity. To give you a detailed insight, I’ve broken down the formula to its essential components and have discussed the properties and benefits of each in the following section.

  1. Alpha GPC

Also known as L-Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine or choline alfoscerate, Alpha GPC is one of the most common constituents found in powerful nootropics. Not only does it work as a potent nootropic on its own, but it also works in combination with a range of other nootropics to help enhance their effects.

It may cross the blood-brain barrier, enhancing your brain’s phosphatidylcholine system along with the acetylcholine levels.

Alpha GPC helps to enhance and restore memory, improve mood, boost energy, and increase strength.

  1. AC-11

AC-11 or Cat’s Claw is derived from the inner bark of the Uncaria tomentosa vine. It is known to help repair DNA, which is, to say the least, an extraordinary capability. The self-repairing ability of our DNA structures decreases with age. And, a damaged DNA strand can lead to cognitive issues and memory loss if it replicates without properly repairing itself. AC-11 helps in the healing process of DNA structures, thus strengthening our cognitive functions.

  1. Huperzine A (Huperzia Serrata)

This is proven to be an excellent acetylcholinesterase-inhibitor. Huperzine A has been known to immensely help those who have Alzheimer’s disease. It increases the levels of acetylcholine, a chemical used by the nerves to transmit signals to other nerves in the brain, and to other muscles and organs in the body. Huperzine A thus helps to improve the overall memory function by regulating the neurotransmitting function of the nerves.

  1. Oat Straw

Oat Straw is derived from Avena sativa, the same plant source that gives us oatmeal. This is known to improve attention span and focus and boost cognitive performance. It is also used as a natural anti-stress supplement.

  1.  L-Theanine

L-Theanine is most commonly found in green tea. It is scientifically proven to help improve mental alertness and attention.

  1. L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine has shown to regulate your cognitive function during high degrees of stress. It improves certain aspects of your mental faculties to relax your mind under immense pressure.

  1. Bacopa

It helps those who are suffering from a wide range of cognitive issues, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It also has been shown to improve the mind’s adaptability to stress.

  1. Vinpocetine

Commonly found in the Periwinkle plant, Vinpocetine presents a range of beneficial effects that help improve the overall mental state of an individual. It behaves as a neuroprotectant and an anti-aging agent. It may also improve blood flow, increasing the bioavailability of oxygen and other essential nutrients in the body.

  1. Pterostilbene

Pterostilbene has been known to be effective in reversing cognitive behavioral deficits, as well as in regulating dopamine release. Also, memory functions were associated with pterostilbene levels in the hippocampus.

  1. Resveratrol

This is an antioxidant compound that is found in significant quantities in grapes. Resveratrol diminishes oxidative stress and restricts the destructive aging effects of free radicals found throughout both the body and the brain.

My experience with the product

As I had mentioned earlier, things were far from being good after I was diagnosed with my hyperglycemic condition, at the age of 25. This lead to obesity that stifled my social life. It also lead to certain hormonal abnormalities which had enormous negative impacts on my overall health.

Given the fact that I wasn’t the exactly the smart and confident guy at any point of time in my life even before my diagnosis, my present health condition slowed me down even more.

I remember feeling lethargic all the time, leading an inactive lifestyle and indulging in unhealthy ways of life. I had spiraled into depression and was high on stress and anxiety almost all the time, searching for quick-fixes in anti-depressants.

I realized that I was losing my focus and concentration and had become quite forgetful. I even scored pitifully less in my annual aptitude test, which shocked me considerably.

It was around this time that my nutritionist first recommended NooCube and suggested I take the supplement on a daily basis with my other medications.

Although I had almost no faith in the claims of the product, I didn’t entirely throw it to the wind.

I began taking the supplement on my nutritionist’s recommendations and continued it for almost 3 months before I came to any concrete conclusion regarding the formula.

The results that I got were, to my surprise, pretty amazing. Although they weren’t quite noticeable at first, I gradually felt better after taking the supplement during the first month.

I felt a lot more active and could concentrate on my papers better. I was strictly advised to workout regularly along with taking the supplement. It helped me emerge from an indolent way of life. I gradually began to physically train even more and went on to become a successful fitness model and a trainer after that.

How does NooCube claim to work?

One of the principle ways that most nootropics work is by boosting the acetylcholine levels in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that works in both sympathetic (“fight or flight”) and parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) nervous system to regulate the motor, executive and memory functions in an individual.

NooCube, too, works in a similar way to help heal the exhausted or damaged neuronal cells in our brain to restore the cognitive function responsible for the communication and coordination between the brain and the body.

Nootropics target the neurotransmitters of the brain that include acetylcholine, glutamate, serotonin, and dopamine, improving the overall function of your brain.

NooCube boosts the creation of acetylcholine in the brain. It also influences and regulates the levels of dopamine and serotonin levels to relax the mind and body and enhance focus and concentration even during highly stressful times. An increased level of acetylcholine in the brain helps you achieve mental clarity and refreshes the memory functions. It is ideal for those who have trouble staying focused for more extended periods of time.

You can take two capsules a day of the supplement or as directed by your physician. Do not crush or chew. Simply swallow the pill.

It is advisable to take and maintain a certain dose of the supplement. Follow the age-appropriate dose. It is easy to use and can be taken at any time of the day.

However, it is mandatory that you consult with your physician before starting on the supplement. Do not consume the product if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients contained in it.

Side Effects

There have been no side effects to the product. The ingredients are completely safe for consumption and do not pose a risk to your overall health.

However, in some instances, huperzine in excessive doses might cause blurred vision, slurred speech, restlessness, loss of appetite, contraction, and twitching of muscle fibers. And cat’s claw in excessive measures might cause a headache, dizziness or vomiting in some people.

But, overall, NooCube has shown no side effects at all.

  • It is a superior formula designed by top neuroscientists.
  • It is rigorously tested and contains clinically backed ingredients.
  • It contains no caffeine or gluten and is non-GMO

What could have been better?

NooCube takes a considerable amount of time to show effects. This duration of time might vary from person to person depending on the extent of their complications.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I am very satisfied with the NooCube dietary supplement. It has played a significant part in my life to help me regain my memory functions and overcome the obstacles of an inactive and lethargic lifestyle.

Although it does take a considerable amount of time to show its effects, it is worth a solid try by everyone. It is a standard and quality nootropic supplement that justifies its claims with its efficiency.
